MyVeloFit Renews Partnership with Speed Skating Canada

By Justin Goulding

We’re proud to announce that MyVeloFit has renewed its partnership with Speed Skating Canada for another four years, running through the next Olympics in 2030.

Since our partnership began in 2023, we’ve worked with Speed Skating Canada to help its athletes get more from an important part of their off-ice training: cycling. Combining our AI-powered motion analysis tools and insights along with the knowledge and support of our very own professional bike fitters, MyVeloFit helps SSC athletes optimize their riding positions so they can get the most from their on-bike training.

Under the renewed partnership, Speed Skating Canada’s national program athletes will continue to receive complimentary access to MyVeloFit, along with online support from expert bike fitters. MyVeloFit’s  team will visit national training centres in Montreal, Calgary, and Quebec City to provide in-person bike fit support.

Celebrating an Incredible Olympic Performance

This renewal follows an outstanding performance by Canada’s long track and short track speed skaters at Milano Cortina 2026. Competing in Milan, the team captured 10 Olympic medals: two gold, three silver, and five bronze.

Gold

  • Women’s team pursuit, long track: Ivanie Blondin, Valérie Maltais, and Isabelle Weidemann
  • Men’s 500m, short track: Steven Dubois

Silver

  • Mixed relay, short track: Kim Boutin, Florence Brunelle, William Dandjinou, Steven Dubois, Félix Roussel, and Courtney Sarault
  • Women’s 1000m, short track: Courtney Sarault
  • Women’s mass start, long track: Ivanie Blondin

Bronze

  • Women’s 3000m, long track: Valérie Maltais
  • Women’s 500m, short track: Courtney Sarault
  • Men’s 500m, long track: Laurent Dubreuil
  • Women’s 3000m relay, short track: Danaé Blais, Kim Boutin, Florence Brunelle, and Courtney Sarault
  • Women’s 1500m, long track: Valérie Maltais

It was a remarkable Games for the entire program. Courtney Sarault earned four medals, Valérie Maltais collected three, and Steven Dubois left Milan with both gold and silver. The women’s long track team pursuit trio also successfully defended the Olympic title it won at Beijing 2022.

We’re honoured to support athletes competing at this level. Their Olympic results were earned through years of talent, discipline, teamwork, and consistent preparation. Our role is to help make one part of that preparation, the countless hours spent training on the bike, as comfortable, efficient, and productive as possible.

Making Better Bike Fit More Accessible

Our mission at MyVeloFit has always been to make high-quality bike fitting more accessible. Since 2020, more than 200,000 cyclists —from beginners to Olympic champions— have used our platform to better understand and optimize their positions on the bike.

Renewing this partnership allows us to continue supporting Canada’s elite speed skaters while also bringing professional-quality bike fit guidance to the thousands of athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers who make up the Canadian speed-skating community.

We’re excited for the next four years and proud to remain part of Speed Skating Canada’s journey; on the bike, on the ice, and everywhere the pursuit of performance takes its athletes.
