The Rise of the “All Road” Bike

Twenty years ago, in 2004, a new road bike category was born with the launch of the Specialized Roubaix, the “Endurance” road bike. However, for nearly all those years the Endurance bike category has never felt as though it fully found its place in the bike market. Despite models like the Specialized Roubaix, Trek Domane, and Giant Defy often holding the honour as the top selling models in each company’s respective road line up, these bikes never quite felt like they had hit their stride. First Ride of the Year Checklist

Woohoo nicer weather is here! Time to RIDE! Okay wait, what do I need now? I’m sure you’ve had the “first ride of the year scramble” many times before. You get your bike off the trainer and spend more time actually getting ready to ride than your actual first ride. Body By Bike

I’m all about sharing the gospel of cycling and exploring the outdoors on two wheels, and I firmly believe that movement is medicine and there’s nothing more exhilarating than the wind through my hair, dust spraying from my wheels and the sensation of flying through space.
